Tracy is a Senior Art Director with Savage Solutions, a full-service marketing agency located in Milwaukee, WI. A role with truly varying duties, on any given day Tracy could find herself overseeing video shoots, working on graphic design in Adobe, creating chalk art at client locations, or sitting in on meetings with potential clients.

My name is Tracy Olson. I am a Senior Art Director at Savage Solutions. We have clients ranging from B to B, B to C and startups. Our passion is working with people that are starting out at an entrepreneurs, but we do anything from naming, branding, coming up with their entire messaging and voice and then managing their social. So, it's an all around creative house, pretty much that I work at, and it's really fun 'cause I get to wear a lot of different hats everyday. But yeah, my week can range from sitting at my desk doing creative work and getting on the computer, even doing illustration, to for some of our clients, I've gone out to maybe an event that they're having and doing some type of installation artwork. Whether that's like chalk work, or some type of custom painting. So, that's really fun for me because I always like to just kinda be all hands on, and do kinda that type of art work, and then I could be back at a client meeting, kinda a little bit more dressed up and trying to figure out, okay, what are we gonna do with this client? Are they looking for naming branding? Are they just looking for a marketing strategy? And, so yeah, it kinda ranges. Some days I'm at my desk. Some days I'm with our videographer on location, kind of making sure that the art direction is, you know, spot on, and we're following the storyboard. As a Senior Art Director, I'm in charge of our Brand Team. So, often times that entails managing one to two graphic designers, sometimes an intern, and then I work pretty closely with our creative art director, so I don't just work on print or just on digital. A lot of times I'm partnering with our copywriter or our video editor to kinda come up with storyboards and come up with an all-encompassing kind of campaign for our clients. But, it is really fun. The majority of my work is coming up with new branding. So, that entails things like your logos and typefaces and color palettes and kinda all that fun stuff. But, that's really just the beginning of kinda what we do for our clients.
