>> My name is Erin Kimsey [phonetic] and I am an outdoor recreation planner for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. I use the federal regulations to review project applications for hydropower dams. So we get a whole series of projects, either new or existing projects that up for a re-license, licenses last from 30 to 50 years. And we review them, either new or existing projects, to make sure that there are protection of resources and that we're making sure that the project doesn't have severe negative implications on any of the resources, both natural and, land use and, from threatening nature's species to fish. And being an outdoor recreation planner, I make sure that there's still adequate access to the water and the grounds around it and that people still, none of their access is impeded, by the project or its operations. More recently we've had a comment period where we've gotten comments coming in from stakeholders about some of the, studies that we've proposed. And they're putting their comments in on what they think that we need to add or things that they feel have been excluded that, and they have to, provide comments on why. And we have a really short turnaround to provide feedback to them about whether or not we will consider them and why we will or will not consider those. So we had a really tight deadline for that and, it made things a little bit more interesting.
