Despite the negative connotations surrounding job hopping, career pivots are more common than you might think. The average person holds 12 different jobs throughout their lifetime. In fact, a recent survey by GOBankingRates survey reveals that 57.65 percent of Americans are planning significant career changes. Their motivations vary; some seek a greater purpose, while others want more flexibility, better benefits, or higher salaries.

At Sunrun, a leading residential solar and battery storage company in the U.S., numerous women in leadership roles have successfully switched positions or even changed industries to be where they are. Some have taken time off for personal reasons, such as family planning or further education. Others have swapped careers or industries simply out of a passion to pursue careers in green energy at Sunrun. In our recent webinar with Sunrun leaders, we hear all about their career journeys.

In this webinar, you’ll learn about:
• When, why and how to make a career pivot
• What you should do to prepare yourself for making a major career move
• How to network to make a more successful career pivot
• How to move up in your career even as you change roles or industries
