From there I just deliver it. And that's how my day starts. Carrier pays for everything. Obviously you're liable for your driving. Habits on the road and your truck on the road. That's were the pre-trip inspection comes in. You're looking under the hood. You're looking under the truck. You're looking everywhere. There's hundred different parts that you're looking at so. And late days it will be seven or eight. Some days I can go as late as nine. But that's been a little bit rare. Doesn't have... Generally is nine 10 hours. Local drivers will be based an hourly. Because we only drive like 80 to 100 miles a day. If you're over the road you gonna be paid by mileage most likely.
