What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
Work with engineers, software teams, and other writers to develop documentation for a comprehensive tool which integrates with commercial Toro machinery.
Plan, organize, write, and test written materials for the tool alongside a team of technical writers across the enterprise.
Revise materials as feedback arises.
Partake in mentorship opportunities and 1:1 development with associates in The Toro Company.
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
Be an actively enrolled undergraduate senior or master’s degree student in a scientific and technical communication program. Experience with computer science work is preferred, whether as a major, minor, or previous experience.
Have hands-on experience with technical writing tools, such as XML, DITA, Arbortext, or similar.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Superb written communication skills, with a sharp eye for detail and editing.
Ability to work collaboratively on a team, and on your own, while meeting established deadlines.
Ability to give, receive, and share feedback in a professional, constructive manner.
