Job Title: Service Advisor / Paraplanner
Full-time or Internship with possibility of full-time after graduation
Location: Fort Collins, Colorado (Primarily in-office with some hybrid flexibility after onboarding)
About the Practice We are a highly successful, independent wealth management firm in Fort Collins serving high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and pre-retirees throughout Northern Colorado. Due to continued growth, we are adding a key team member who will work directly with the lead advisor.
Position Overview This is a client-facing support role that combines financial planning, exceptional client service, light administrative responsibilities, and occasional contribution to the firm’s investment process. You will be an integral part of a small, high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and update comprehensive financial plans using MoneyGuidePro
- Prepare for and attend client meetings (in-person and virtual), present recommendations, take detailed notes, and complete all follow-up items
- Manage client workflow and relationships in Redtail CRM
- Provide white-glove service on client requests (transfers, RMDs, beneficiary updates, account openings, etc.)
- Assist with administrative tasks including scanning, filing, scheduling, preparing client review packets, and basic office support
- Coordinate insurance reviews, applications, and policy servicing
- Perform portfolio analysis, rebalancing, and performance reporting
- Participate in the firm’s annual model portfolio review alongside the lead advisor and institutional economists
- Help with client events, seminars, and practice marketing initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (strongly preferred)
- Previous experience in financial advising, wealth management, or financial planning highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you enjoy helping people and explaining concepts clearly
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Professional presence suitable for affluent clientele

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $70,000 – $100,000 (commensurate with experience, credentials, and licensing)

Prior experience in a financial advisory practice and familiarity with Redtail and MoneyGuidePro are significant advantages and will place you toward the upper end of the compensation range.
