Catering Sales & Scheduling Coordinator
Location: Georgia College – Milledgeville, GA
Pay Range: $23–$27 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, weekday daytime hours. Some flexibility required.
About the Role
We’re hiring a Catering Sales & Scheduling Coordinator to help grow and manage our catering program at Georgia College. This role is perfect for someone organized, tech-savvy, and customer-service oriented. You’ll be the go-to contact for inbound catering requests, managing bookings through our online system, preparing quotes, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
This is primarily a computer-based, administrative role with limited in-person event work. You’ll focus on sales coordination, client communication, and internal logistics—not heavy lifting or on-site catering unless we need a rare emergency backup.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to inquiries, build proposals, and coordinate catering bookings
Manage catering software, calendars, invoices, and internal communication
Confirm event details with clients and follow up on feedback
Collaborate with kitchen staff and delivery team to ensure flawless execution
Track sales performance and assist with marketing initiatives as needed
Provide occasional emergency support during large campus events
What You’ll Bring
0-2 years in sales coordination, event planning, or administrative support preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfort with spreadsheets, scheduling tools, and customer databases
Professionalism, reliability, and a proactive mindset
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Applicants will be asked to demonstrate comfortability within basic office tools like excel and word.
