FULL-TIME WINERY CELLAR TECH POSITION
WORKING UNDER RENOWNED NAPA VALLEY WINEMAKER
Learning all aspects of the winemaking process from the vine to the bottle!
Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning, operating and maintaining equipment
- Harvesting & aging responsibilities
- Measuring and managing additions to wine
- Managing fermentations/pumpovers/barrel filling & racking
- Performing lab analysis
- Assisting in bottling operations
- Date entry on winery software database
- Inventory & purchase orders
- Customer & guest engagement
- Training on spray & vineyard equipment
- Off-season projects on property
Skills & Job Requirements:
- Required to be able to stand for extended periods of time, lift 50 pounds, bend, climb and crouch, work in an environment with noise, dust and water in all weather conditions
- Working extended hours and weekends, as needed, primarily during harvest & bottling season
- Basic math & recordkeeping skills
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- State-mandated background check required
- Valid driver’s license
- Fluent in English
Wine knowledge/interest is a plus.
