As a Financial Risk Intern at Robinhood, you will be part of the team that ensures the company’s financial stability and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will gain hands-on experience in risk assessment, financial analysis, and strategic planning. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about finance, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
This role is based in our Washington, D.C. office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do
- Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Support the preparation of risk assessment reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data.
- Monitor financial markets and regulatory changes to assess their impact on the company.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on risk management practices.
What you bring
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Prior internship or work experience in finance or risk management is a plus.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected hourly range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
