Protax Consulting Services (“Protax”) is a CPA firm located in mid-town Manhattan with an CPA firm Immediate Full-Time hire – Entry Level- No Experience Required- Tax role in Global Mobility Tax Services– (a.k.a. International Individual US Taxation)
Candidates will receive extensive training in a specialized niche area of Global Mobility Tax Services (International Individual US tax)- , the taxation of- U.S. expatriates (U.S. persons living/ working outside the U.S.) and U.S. Foreign Nationals (foreigners Iiving / working in the U.S.), from renowned leading experts in the field. Also multi state tax and some corporate and partnership tax.
The employee will perform individual tax return compliance and will gain a comprehensive and detailed understanding of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, sections that applicable to these areas of tax that we concentrate on.
Accounting Major/ Masters, tax course, prior tax experience (VITA) / general knowledge of Form 1040 and a strong interest in tax a plus. Also some QuickBooks experience / course a plus.
Candidates will be trained to use tax compliance software, tax research software and techniques. Will gain excellent professional skills. Training includes from ground up, office operations, tax workflows, policies and procedures and tax technical/ software implementation and research.
QUALIFICATIONS
