The Middle School Math Teacher creates a positive learning environment to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students. In order to respond to the individual needs and abilities of students, the Math Teacher must work closely with other staff, and administration of the District.
Additional Information:
- Bachelors Degree in mathematics education or related field required.
- Current Kansas teaching license with appropriate endorsement required.
- Collaborates with other teachers on best practices and teaching strategies that support student
- learning.
- Collaborates with teachers in other content areas to produce cross-curricular projects and
- assignments.
- Engages students in the math program using a hands-on learning approach.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate with colleagues, administration, and families.
- Employee is expected to have acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to perform at an acceptable level within six (6) months of being awarded the position.
USD290 conducts background screenings and TB tests on all potential candidates.
