Position Overview:
MAC Midwest is seeking to expand its mental health services continuum beyond autism spectrum. Opportunities for full-time or part-time licensed mental health professionals (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, LP) to provide psychotherapy and diagnostic assessments to patients depending on psychotherapists interest areas and competencies. Qualified candidates will have prior experience is diagnostic assessments and psychotherapy and be proficient completing DA’s and writing treatment plans for outpatient psychotherapy services. Duties of this position will include:
- Provide diagnostic assessments to clients within the psychotherapists scope of competence including all DMS5 diagnostics beyond autism spectrum disorders.
- Provide outpatient psychotherapy to patients within the psychotherapists scope of competence
- Designs and implements treatment plans and ongoing therapy reflective of client needs with outpatient mental health and/or MAC center-based ABA services.
- If interested/needed, provide clinical supervision to interns or masters level providers.
- Maintain legible and organized outpatient records in accordance with policy requirements
- Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings including case and peer reviews
- Follow policies and procedures of MAC Midwest
- Responsible for timely completion of Managed Care applications and ongoing documentation as needed
- Other duties as assigned
In this position, we are particularly interested in hiring a psychotherapist to provide outpatient psychotherapy services for MAC Midwest beyond the ASD diagnosis. There is flexibility to provide your own mix of outpatient psychotherapy and MAC center-based ABA services. Some of our clinicians provide assessment & evaluation exclusively and some provide a combination of assessment and therapy. There are options for virtual sessions as well as partnership locations (schools, clinics) throughout the state.
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted licensure as a mental health professional in the state of MN
- Master’s degree from an accredited academic program
- Must be comfortable working with children, adolescents, and/or adults
- Experience using Electronic Health Records
