Job Summary
Join our team as a Mechanical Engineering Intern and gain hands-on experience in design, analysis, and manufacturing support. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers on real-world projects involving product development, process optimization, and troubleshooting equipment.
Primary Duties
- Learn and perform quality specification testing on Screened and Milled Limestone.
- Develop analytical tools to correlate equipment performance with OEM specifications.
- Provide improvement suggestions within existing process control, data analytics, and throughout the Maintenance and Engineering Department.
- Develop and suggest waste elimination efforts to reduce administrative workload.
- Work with maintenance support team to improve data collection in Quarry Operations
- Work with maintenance support team to improve data collection in Secondary Crushing and Drying.
- Learn and help to support Ignition software in support of Milled Stone department.
OE/Lean
Understands and/or actively participates in the implementation of sustainable improvement processes, such as 5S, Kaizen, Daily Management Control, Standard Work and Problem Solving.
