Luminary Logistics Solutions LLC is a third-party logistics company based in Charlottesville, VA that specializes in international and domestic transportation of over-dimensional and over-weight cargo. We are currently seeking to hire a Project Manager.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
Responsibilities
- Manage vendors
- Interface with the Sales and Sourcing teams
- Monitor project deliverables
- Track project budget
- Update relevant stakeholders and team members on project progress
- Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them
- Up to 50% travel (generally much less)
- Should be willing to spend extended periods of time outdoors when visiting ports, terminals, or project sites.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite including: Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Must submit to and pass random drug tests per company policy
- Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC)
