Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for carrying out tax compliance/accounting, tax planning, and/or transfer pricing projects based on business needs.
LOCATION
This role will be based on-site at our Corporate Headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL with the ability to be hybrid/remote 2 days a week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Tax Planning
Preparation of U.S. international tax compliance workpapers and review and edit related tax returns
Assist with tax due diligence and legal agreement review with respect to potential acquisitions
Assist with the structural integration and planning for acquisitions and new investments
Prepare advanced Excel worksheets and PowerPoint presentations for compliance and planning projects
Assist in implementing legal entity restructurings and cash redeployment
Support and research US income tax advice on new business opportunities identified by business partners
Review legal documents for specific content
Collaborate with tax and other departments on cross-functional projects
Keep up to date on changes in tax law and related guidance through tax update webcasts and technical reading
Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Experience in analytical tasks and research
Working knowledge of tax technical rules
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to become proficient in accounting and tax return software
Working knowledge in use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field. Master’s degree strongly preferred.
At least 1-2+ years of related tax planning experience, or equivalent combination of higher-level education and experience.
