Position Summary
We’re seeking a visionary Program Director to lead our national initiative connecting student leaders who are creating positive social change. The role focuses on building and managing a network of college students who share monthly success stories through written or video content, inspiring others to take action in their own communities.
Primary Responsibilities
Program Development & Management
– Design and implement the strategic vision for the Share Your Success program
– Create scalable systems for recruiting and managing student contributors across multiple universities
– Develop content guidelines and quality standards for success stories
– Build engagement strategies to maintain active student participation
– Track and analyze program metrics and impact
Network Building & Partnerships
– Establish relationships with university departments and student organizations
– Develop partnerships with social impact organizations and community leaders
– Create a collaborative network of student changemakers across institutions
– Foster connections between participating students and community leaders
Content Strategy & Impact
– Oversee the curation and publication of monthly success stories
– Develop distribution strategies to maximize the reach and impact of stories
– Create engagement frameworks to inspire action from success stories
– Guide the development of the program’s digital presence
Team Leadership
– Recruit and manage student interns
– Provide mentorship and professional development support
– Foster a culture of innovation and social impact
– Collaborate with founders on organizational strategy and growth
Required Qualifications
Currently enrolled student in an institution of higher learning
Or, recent alumni with strong university connections
Or, 3+ years experience in program management, preferably in higher education or nonprofit sectors
– Demonstrated success in building and scaling programs
– Strong understanding of social impact and social justice initiatives
– Excellence in remote team management and virtual collaboration
– Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
– Experience with content strategy and digital engagement
– Track record of building successful partnerships
Desired Qualities
– Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with startup environment
– Experience in student leadership development
– Background in storytelling or content creation
– Understanding of social movement building
– Network of contacts in higher education or social impact sector
– Passion for inspiring positive social change
Position Structure
– Part-time position (20-25 hours/week)
– 100% remote work arrangement
