Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Coordinating communications between leadership, other mountain departments and snowmaking teams to provide accurate and timely information regarding supply/demand, control/safety alerts, and detail for proper gun settings.
• Responsible for recording hourly data of operating equipment and system parameters
• Updating staff of current weather patterns and conditions.
• Continue to develop a teamwork atmosphere
• Have an in depth understanding of pump and compressor operation
• Have a full understanding of mountain layout and travel routes
Additional Requirements:
• At least 1 seasons experience of snowmaking
• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
• Fluent in English
• Ability to work with various hand and power tools
• Comfortable working around heavy equipment
• Ability to work outside in adverse conditions
• Adhere to Departmental and Diamond Peak safety standards
