The Associate Consultant will be responsible for assisting a team in investigating, documenting, and calculating Federal and State R&D Credits. In addition, writing, presentation, project management, and client communication skills are important and valuable attributes for this position. The position provides the opportunity to advance rapidly based on the candidate’s motivation, skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collect and analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to identify specific information
- Compute R&D credits using existing multi-spreadsheets workbooks
- Prepare or assist in preparing R&D credit specific tax forms
- Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other consultants
- Organize material and complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology
- Maintain records and files of work, revisions, and sources
- Interview production and engineering personnel, as well as read other materials, to become familiar with product technologies and production methods
- Research and compile R&D credit case law and regulation changes, updates, and developments
