This is a 40-hour-per-week assignment, Monday through Friday paid internship.
JOB SUMMARY
The Marketing intern will support the development of marketing strategies, communications content and business development. This position will be responsible for supporting project pursuits, branding, SEO, events, campaign’s and promotions, and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
- Content Creation: Assist in the creation of marketing content, including social media posts, blog articles, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
- Social Media Management: Collaborate with the management to manage and maintain Hartert-Russell’s social media channels, engage with followers, and analyze social media performance.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive insights.
- Campaign Support: Support marketing campaigns, including planning, execution, and tracking of results.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools to extract insights from marketing campaigns and make data-driven recommendations.
- Customer Engagement: Assist, coordinate and/or attend events such as trade shows, conferences, client events, and in-house planned activities.
- Creative Collaboration: Work with graphic designers, copywriters, and other creative professionals to develop marketing materials. May support and organize project and/or company photography.

- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creativity and an eye for design and content.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing concepts.
- Analytical mindset and the ability to derive insights from data.
- Enthusiasm for marketing and small business growth.
Job Qualifications and Skills
- Expected graduation: 2026 or 2027.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Proficiency in providing content to social media platforms (e.g. – Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Organizational skills and good time management.
- Ability to deliver quality through attention to detail
- Self-Motivated with a strong work ethic.
