About Handprints Therapies
Handprints Therapies is a collaborative pediatric therapy practice serving children and families throughout the Denver Metro area. Our interdisciplinary team provides ABA, Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services in a warm, inclusive, and family-centered environment.
This internship offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing, communications, and community engagement within a mission-driven healthcare organization.
Internship Overview
The Marketing & Communications Intern will assist in planning, creating, and managing multimedia content to promote Handprints Therapies’ mission and services. This role is ideal for students studying Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, or Human Development who are passionate about storytelling, creativity, and community impact.
Learning Opportunities Include:
- Monthly Newsletter Creation: Draft, design, and distribute monthly digital newsletters highlighting programs, staff, and community stories.
- LinkedIn Management: Develop and manage the Handprints Therapies company page; create engaging posts to grow professional visibility.
- Social Media Oversight: Support scheduling, content creation, and analytics across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Video Editing: Assist in creating short video clips for social media, caregiver education, and community outreach campaigns.
- Brand Consistency: Learn to apply brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive visual and written style across materials.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (Marketing, Communications, or related field).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Canva, social media platforms, and/or basic video editing tools
- Organized, creative, and able to manage multiple projects independently.
