About Greenhouse
Sustainable, generational change in under-resourced communities has proven difficult to achieve. Greenhouse is changing that paradigm by working from within – partnering with the most inspiring young leaders and surrounding them with a powerful, lifelong community. Together, we’re launching and scaling bold initiatives that are transforming communities across our country and the world.
What We’re Looking For
As the ideal candidate, you are a high-performing, entrepreneurial, self-starter who is passionate about creating a positive impact. You have experience with some of the responsibilities outlined below and are eager to learn more and refine your skills. You love working as part of a team but are comfortable taking the initiative to get things done.
What We Offer
One of our core values is accountability. We are accountable to our interns the same way they are accountable to us. It is our goal to provide value to you in the form of skills and experience that will help you in your chosen career. Sure, there will be some classic intern stuff on your to-do list, but much more of your time will be spent doing “real work.” Our interns are wholly responsible for their own projects and are trusted to work on those projects independently, sometimes with little oversight. We give you the opportunity to grow into the role, make it your own, and become an integral part of our team.
Greenhouse spring interns will receive a stipend of $1,000.
Intern Role and Responsibilities
You will work alongside the Young Leaders and Whole Community Program teams who develop and deliver the Greenhouse alumni program to graduates of the Whole Person College Program. The Young Leaders Program provides comprehensive support to Greenhouse Alumni in the first decade of their careers and ensures we work together as a community to launch actionable, high-potential ideas. The Whole Community Program has our entire community working together to both deepen and broaden our impact.
We have six program components (Impact & Entrepreneurship, Lifelong Learning, Careers, Connections, Funding, Immersive Gatherings) and over 300 alumni, whom we support. Our alumni are mainly in Colorado and Illinois but live all over the country.
You will support Young Leaders and Whole Community Programs staff in their daily program administration with duties such as:
- Manage data tracking, reporting, and analysis in Salesforce
- Communication with internal staff and alumni
- Assist with program content for marketing efforts and historical archiving
- Support event planning efforts including alumni outreach, confirmations, and virtual and in-person event logistics
- Organize aspects of projects that contribute to an impactful outcome
Ideal Candidate Will Possess
- Passion for education, leadership, community engagement, and/or social entrepreneurship
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ambition, drive, comfort with autonomy, and a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Comfortable working within online platforms including Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Knowing Salesforce is not required but would be a major plus
Requirements
- Must be able to commute to our office in Boulder, CO
- Must be able to work 20 hours per week in-person from our Boulder, CO office from January 20, 2026 to April 17, 2026
