Healthcare Administration Leadership Program participants will gain comprehensive education and experience in all aspects of healthcare administration. The program consists of working with members of the administrative team on Genesis, and assisting with existing projects. Participants will be part of an intern team, led by Genesis’ project manager. Participants will also report directly to the CEO of a thriving orthopedic surgery practice. Additional educational opportunities, such as weekly book discussions, are included in the program to enhance your understanding of the context and challenges of high-value healthcare. Genesis is looking for individuals to help with research, curate journal/blog content, navigate hefty data sets, and help in the day-to-day of health administration. The work at Genesis is best suited for a wide range of skills and for those passionate about healthcare access equity. This is a part-time unpaid program during the spring semester of the school year.
