About the Role
As a Project Coordinator Intern at SkyIT, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in project planning, tracking, and team coordination—all while contributing to a mission-driven, green-tech organization. You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects stay on schedule, teams remain aligned, and objectives are achieved efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity to develop foundational project management skills while supporting meaningful, sustainability-focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor the progress of ongoing projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Prepare clear and concise status reports for project stakeholders.
- Assist in developing and maintaining project plans and schedules.
2. Team Coordination & Communication
- Facilitate communication between team members to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Help identify and resolve bottlenecks or resource gaps that may impact project delivery.
- Ensure all stakeholders are updated on project milestones and changes.
3. HR & Structural Support
- Support HR in managing department structures and resource allocation for projects.
- Maintain an organized project supervision calendar to track goals and key deadlines.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a relevant program (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, Operations, or related field).
- Proficient in Google Workspace and Slack, or able to quickly adapt to new tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative, and strategic environment.
Internship Details:
- The minimum internship duration is 3 months and minimum working hours per week is 20 hours.
- This is an unpaid internship.
- All applicants MUST be a university senior or above.
- We are a Canadian-based company.
- All positions are remote.
- We require mandatory meeting availability (depending on your role).
- Work hours are based in MST (Mountain Standard Time)
