Do you like to work hard with fun people in a beautiful setting? Do you love live music? No experience necessary!
Spend a week learning the ins-and-outs and up and arounds of
festival production with a great team at a great festival.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM: The California Bluegrass Association’s Leadership
Training Program is an exciting opportunity for people entering the event production world or experienced production folks desiring to broaden their skills, to work with an experienced event production crew as we build the event
from ground up.
Leadership participants will be gaining hands-on experience working on
various crews such as safety and hospitality, production, operations, sound,
catering, sales, artist relations, stage management and box office . You will
work with experts to create a high-quality festival experience for attendees,
and learn to solve problems in real-time. In addition, a seminar series will be
conducted for participants, providing brief (30-45 minute) workshops with
experts on important topics. You will have a chance to meet the key team
leaders in these areas, learn about their roles and to engage in Q&A sessions. Meals will be provided on site and there is a needs based assistance for camping gear if necessary.
At the end of the project you will receive an evaluation and letter of reference.
