UC Health Maternal Care Simulation: November 2024

Join us for an immersive multidisciplined Simulation focused on Maternity Care at UC Health! Open to EMT/Paramedic’s, Nursing, Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Doctorate, or Exploratory Students! We also encouarge you to particpate if you are Alumni!  You’ll experience: Realistic Scenarios: Immerse yourself in critical lifelike simulations that mirror the challenges and complexities of maternal care. From routine check-ups to emergency situations, Simulations prepare you for every aspect of maternal health. Our Simulator is even equiped with Virtual Realty Technology! Which will provide you with a perspective you won’t get in a clinical enviornment. Interactive Training Modules: Engage in hands-on, interactive Simulations that simulate a variety of scenarios. Practice decision-making, critical thinking, and enhance your clinical skills in a risk-free environment. Expert Guidance: Receive personalized feedback and guidance from experienced instructors throughout your simulation journey. Learn from the best in the field and refine your skills for optimal patient care. Our staff experts are the best in the region for a reason, and they are excited and eager to share their knowledge with the next generation of care providers.  The event will be hosted in our Simulation Center on the 5th Floor of Holmes Hospital. We will run 2 separate Simulations that will last 90 minutes each. You will receive a confirmation email from Mackenzie regarding your assigned participation time, parking directions, and what to wear, a few days before the event. Just as an FYI-Please wear professional comfortable clothes that you can move in, scrubs work best (closed toe shoes, no heels).
