Job description
We are looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be highly effective at multi-tasking and time management of job responsibilities. If you have previous experience as an administrative assistant, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Field questions and calls from customers, drivers and salespeople (including orders, invoice copies, delivery issues).
- Assist with daily deposit
- Enter orders
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Sending of Statements
- Maintain filing system
Skills
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
- Great phone and communication skills
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like calculator, printers, scanner and fax machines
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary will be a plus
- Basic knowledge of accounting will be a plus
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy work environment
- Self-motivated and willingness to learn
