Intro to Communication

This introductory course is a mandatory requirement for students in the Communications major at Cambridge State University.  This course provides a foundational understanding of human communication, exploring its principles, processes, and contexts. Students will examine key theories and models of communication, including interpersonal, group, organizational, and mass communication. The course also covers verbal and nonverbal communication, active listening, cultural influences, and the role of technology in modern communication. Through discussions, activities, and assignments, students will develop critical thinking and practical skills to enhance their ability to communicate effectively in personal, academic, and professional settings.
