AI and Organismal Biology Symposium

Join us for the AI and Organismal Biology Symposium on Monday, September 14, 2026, to celebrate the launch of the Columbia University-based National Synthesis Center for Organismal Resilience (NSCORE) funded by the National Science Foundation. This one-day symposium, in person and online, will bring together leaders and learners from academia and industry to examine how AI is reshaping the study of organismal biology.  The symposium introduces NSCORE’s mission: to advance our ability to explain and predict organismal resilience to change by building the AI tools and expertise needed to synthesize data across scales, from molecules to individuals to ecosystems. Sessions will cover how scientists are using AI to dissect complex phenotypes, and how technology and industry leaders are applying AI to the living world. The symposium and kickoff will be held at Columbia University in the City of New York with a hybrid option for remote attendees as there is limited seating at Columbia University. Please register at the link and use the provided zoom to join.  You can view the event agenda here
