In this Athletes’ Soul session, Steve Davis Jr. shares how athletes can unlock creativity, joy, and fulfillment beyond sports. After his own transition from football when the NFL didn’t work out, Steve founded Strive Higher After Sports to help athletes design meaningful lives. Using design thinking principles, Steve introduces the Designing Your Life framework (empathize, define, ideate, prototype, test, reflect) with a focus on the ideation phase — generating limitless ideas and reactivating the fearless mindset of childhood. Through centering exercises, mind mapping, and storytelling, participants rediscover passions, explore joy outside of sport, and learn how creativity can guide new opportunities. This session empowers athletes to dream big, take action, and design a future that is playful, purposeful, and fulfilling.
