Position Overview
- We are seeking a skilled and creative Geospatial Data and Vision Model Engineering Intern to join our team. The selected candidate will develop code for the harvesting, cleaning, and displaying of data relating to the Semiconductor industry.
- You will be responsible for a fully automated, end to end Vision Model Pipeline.
- The Data Automation Engineering Intern will have the opportunity to work closely with the industry-leading analysts and data scientists at SemiAnalysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Using Python and PostgreSQL:
- Transform data found on the web into data frames.
- Clean existing datasets.
- Display data in a manner that is both informative and aesthetically pleasing.
- Manage geospatial pipeline.
- Train and tune Vision Models.
- Write data quality checks.
- Leverage Machine Learning for data processing.
Qualifications (Sorted by importance)
- Demonstrates the highest degree of integrity and transparency.
- A recent graduate in a quantitative field.
- Demonstrated experience in working with SQL Databases, Python.
- Has built something cool unprompted.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
- Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly.
- Strong instinct for automation.
- A love of modular, readable, reusable code.
