Chungsoo Ha Farmers Insurance & Financial Services Agency is expanding our service team and seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Specialist Role to join our growing office. This position plays an essential role in supporting our producers and delivering an outstanding client experience. Our goal is to create a strong operational foundation that fosters seamless day-to-day coordination between our team and our clients and partners.
Position Overview
This full-time, in-person role is ideal for motivated, detail-oriented professionals who take pride in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining efficient workflows. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients — welcoming walk-ins, answering calls, managing servicing requests, and coordinating with our underwriting and billing departments.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist clients at the front desk with professionalism and courtesy
- Deliver exceptional customer service by managing client communications, inquiries, and call transfers
- Support producers with administrative duties such as data entry, document preparation, CRM updates, and outgoing mail
- Manage inbound calls and emails, ensuring timely responses and accurate follow-ups
- Coordinate effectively with clients, producers, underwriting, billing, and external partners to resolve servicing needs
- Monitor agency dashboard for policy alerts, follow up on pending items, and ensure completion of servicing tasks
- Maintain organized records of client interactions, updates, and reminders within the CRM system
- Assist with mail processing, document management, and general office organization
- Once licensed, handle policy updates, process changes, and submit required documentation as needed
Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency *(English + Chinese/Korean/Spanish preferred)
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and information-gathering skills
- Professional, detail-oriented, and proactive with excellent follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to commute to the job location
- Must be able to complete a background check and an aptitude assessment
- Must be able to work onsite (no remote option)
- Must be willing to obtain an insurance license
Compensation & Benefits:
- Range: $18.00/hour – $20.00/hour
- Starting at $20.00/hour for those who are licensed or based on experience
- Performance-based bonuses and incentives
- Paid Time Off (PTO) eligibility after 6 months (must work at least 30 hours/week)
