Creative Design Manager
Company Overview
Bloomly Digital is a boutique digital marketing agency that helps small businesses and e-commerce brands grow with smart strategy, strong creative, and data-driven decision-making.
We manage email, ads, and lifecycle marketing for our clients—and great creative is at the center of how we get results. We’re a small, collaborative, fully remote team that cares about quality, sustainability, and long-term client relationships.
Role Overview
We are seeking a sharp, trend-savvy Creative Design Manager (CDM) who can create beautiful, polished, visually stunning marketing assets—and also lead the creative workflow that brings those ideas to life. The most important part of this role is your ability to design gorgeous, modern, on-brand visuals that elevate our clients’ presence across email, ads, and e-commerce touchpoints.
This is a hands-on leadership role: you’ll set the creative tone by producing high-quality designs yourself, while also guiding designers (including a team lead), managing workflow, and ensuring everything we deliver is cohesive, strategic, and performance-minded.
We want someone with exceptional aesthetic judgment—someone who naturally knows what looks good, what feels current, and what will resonate. You’ll bring fresh ideas, strong visual instincts, and scalable systems that keep our creative consistently beautiful and effective.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Strategy & Visual Direction
You’ll shape the overall visual standards for Bloomly’s client work and elevate the quality of everything we produce. Responsibilities include:
- Leading creative direction for social media ads, email graphics and layouts, website/e-commerce assets, and promotional visuals that are trend-forward, fresh, and aligned with each client’s brand identity
- Applying design best practices across each format: mobile-first thinking, CTA hierarchy, brand consistency, modern aesthetic standards
- Reviewing campaign goals and performance insights to refine creative concepts that drive engagement and conversions
Template Systems, Scalability & Delegation
To scale creative output across a large client roster, you’ll build structure and clarity into the design process.
- Create, maintain, and evolve templates to reflect new trends, formats, and performance insights
- Provide clear frameworks and guidance to designers so they can execute quickly and consistently; review designer-produced assets and refine as needed to ensure alignment with brand, campaign goals, and platform specs
- Proactively identifying ways to improve creative systems, testing processes, and overall design quality
Internal Collaboration & Creative Production Oversight
You’ll serve as the connective tissue between design, strategy, and execution.
- Collaborate with Account Managers, Ad Team, and Email Team to ensure all creative meets platform requirements, client goals, and best practices
- Review timelines, spot bottlenecks early (and solve them), and maintain a strong track record of on-time delivery
- Uphold a high standard of visual clarity, polish, and performance intent across all deliverables
