Capstone Project
A major component of all internships is a capstone project. All interns will conduct a capstone project and will present their project to various executive leaders from the division and Field Support Center. While Ewing may provide interns with ideas for capstone projects, all interns are encouraged to work with their local leadership to develop their own projects based on their experiences, observations, and their regional/market initiatives.
Example Capstone Projects
• Lapsed Customer Project: identified churned customers, research and connect, win-back customers.
• Customer Service Project: conduct market swot analysis, survey current and lapsed customers, identify customer service needs to build and retain customer base.
• Golf Contractor Project: identify and connect with prospects, build sales campaigns, and acquire new business.
• Merchandising Project: assess merchandising strategy, interview, plan and formulate new practices and procedures to increase sales.
