Position Overview:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Distilling Intern to join our team! This role will give you exposure to all aspects of the distillation process, from raw material selection and fermentation to distillation, quality control, blending, and bottling. You’ll work directly alongside our experienced team, gaining invaluable insights and skills in both the technical and creative sides of crafting premium spirits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with raw material selection, preparation, and inventory management
- Participate in the distillation process, including mashing, fermenting, distilling, and filtering
- Monitor and record production metrics to ensure consistency and quality standards
- Assist with quality control checks and testing throughout the production process
- Support bottling, labeling, and packaging operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of distillery equipment and workspace
- Learn about compliance and regulatory standards specific to the spirits industry
- Collaborate with the team on new product development and innovative flavor profiles

Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Brewing & Distilling, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail, and an appreciation for the artistry of distilling
- Ability to work efficiently in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
- A passion for learning and enthusiasm for the craft of distilling
- Previous experience with distilling, brewing, or lab work is a plus but not required
