Position: Manufacturing Associate
Location: Boston, Seaport

Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing Leadership: Lead and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure timely and efficient production of pharmaceutical products.
- Process Execution: Execute complex manufacturing processes in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), batch records, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Equipment Operation: Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain precise and detailed documentation of manufacturing activities, including batch records, logbooks, and electronic systems. Generate reports to track production metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct in-process quality checks and ensure adherence to GMP standards. Identify and resolve quality issues to maintain product integrity.
- Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor junior manufacturing associates, providing guidance on best practices, SOPs, and GMP compliance.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Proactively identify and address safety hazards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering, and other departments to support manufacturing goals and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Biotechnology, Engineering, Chemistry) is preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing, with a strong background in aseptic processing and cleanroom environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting complex manufacturing equipment. Thorough understanding of GMP regulations and SOPs.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, with strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams.
