ALSAC’s Internship Program offers an immersive experience where interns dive into our culture, contribute to organizational goals through meaningful projects, and build relationships with team members and senior leadership. Over the course of 10 weeks, interns are paired with a day-to-day manager and given significant assignments, gaining a true understanding of what it means to be part of ALSAC/St. Jude. Recognized as one of the top 100 internship programs in the U.S. in 2022 by WayUp and Yello, our program is designed to be impactful and enriching.

ALSAC Summer Intern Innovation Project: Throughout the internship, interns will connect with innovators across ALSAC, learning the art of Design Thinking. Working in teams, they will engage in creative sessions and prepare to present their projects to ALSAC’s CEO and Executive Leadership Team.
Program Details
Start Date: June 2, 2025
End Date: August 8, 2025
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
Pay Rate: $14/hour
Work Location: 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105

Requirements:
A passion for our mission!
Must be undergraduate, graduate, or graduation as of Spring 2025.
Comfortable with Zoom and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
Active participation in the Summer Intern Innovation Project through cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Specific Internship Description and Preferred Skills:
Marketing Operations plays a critical role in ensuring the Marketing department functions efficiently and effectively. It’s a strategic function that combines the creativity of marketing with the technical and analytical knowledge needed to implement solutions that result in ongoing improvements to the way we do business.
Attending Meetings and Events:
Preparation: Review agendas and materials beforehand to maximize learning.
Engagement: Actively participate in discussions and take notes.
Follow-Up: Connect with speakers and attendees post-event to build your network.
Compiling Monthly Trends Report:
Data Collection: Gather insights from various sources such as market research reports, social media analytics, and industry news.
Analysis: Identify key trends and their implications for your marketing strategy.
Reporting: Summarize findings in a clear, concise report for the marketing team.
Generating Monthly Marketing Invoice Report:
Organization: Collect all invoices and categorize them by type and date.
Accuracy: Ensure all data is accurate and complete before generating the report.
Presentation: Use Excel or accounting software to create a detailed report.
Inputting Contract Information in C365 System:
Data Entry: Enter contract details accurately into the C365 system.
Verification: Double-check entries for completeness and correctness.
Updates: Regularly update the system with any changes or new contracts.
Supporting Business Continuity Plans:
Preparation: Assist in developing and updating business continuity plans.
Execution: Help coordinate drills and ensure all team members are aware of their roles.
Documentation: Maintain records of all plans and drills.
Note-Taking for Marketing Daily Standup:
Active Listening: Pay close attention during meetings to capture all relevant information.
Documentation: Write clear and concise notes, highlighting key points and action items.
Distribution: Share the notes with the team promptly to ensure everyone is informed.
Researching Career Opportunities:
Identify Goals: Clarify your professional goals and the types of roles that align with them.
Networking: Attend industry events, join professional groups, and connect with mentors.
Job Search: Use platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor to find opportunities. Tailor your resume and cover letter for each application.
